It is great to share that I have 4 Carolina Chickadees hatchlings. They hatched 4 days ago. In spite of our recent stormy weather...they are doing well.
In another nestbox Eastern Bluebirds have nested and laid 5 eggs. So far Life is good! [b] Very Happy

Having these two species nesting at the same time in peace is a dream come true. Two years ago a pair of Blues overtook the Chickadee's nest...2 eggs had already been laid. Last year the Chickadees successfully fledged 6. I put up a Hole Restrictor on the nestbox...in case the Blues wanted it. But didn't have any Bluebirds at my other two nestboxes.

Haven't seen any HOSP since last Fall. cheers
