Squirrels! Empty
PostSubject: Squirrels!   Squirrels! EmptyMon May 09, 2011 11:03 pm

Ah the wonderful world of squirrels. I admit I have a love/hate relationship with these varmints. On one hand- they destroy bird houses, decimate your bird seed stock, eat your young plants, and cause house fires. On the other- they sure are entertaining!

We have 3 that visit our front yard feeders. One of them has a bald tail except for a tuft of hair on the very end just like a lion. They all have personalities of their own! And it turns out the mocking bird that has nested in the tree next to the feeder has a significant problem with them.

Either way, they should continue to provide entertainment!
